Morning
circle time – we had our
special helper of the day adding the date to our calendar and leading us in our
morning songs.
Snack – JKs were encouraged to eat a healthy snack.
Recess and Lunch
Language
– today we worked on short words. JKs
practiced sounding out the following words: cat, cup, fox, dad, fan, gum and dog.
They traced and wrote the words as well.
Math/UOI
– today we worked on matching the
correct amount of objects to the number correspondent.

Centers –
today JKs explored lacing. Lacing improves eye-hand coordination, builds pincer
grip and improves attention.
