Shirt Day – today as part of
our morning assembly we talked about being a buddy and not a bully.
Morning
circle time – we had our
special helper of the day adding the date to our calendar and leading us on our
morning songs.
Snack – JKs were encouraged to eat a healthy snack.
Recess and Lunch
Art – today we learned about lines. JKs completed an art activity where
they had to draw different kinds of lines (zig-zag, curly, dotted, wavy) and
then use oil pastels to color within the lines they created.

Centers – Today JKs had letter manipulatives as part of the purposeful play time. Letter manipulatives gives children a way to interact with the alphabet through hands-on play. They are able to feel the shape of the letter (curves and lines) and arrange multiple letters to form letter strings or words.
