Happy Tuesday!

Morning circle time – we had our special helper of the day adding the date to our calendar, then we sang our morning songs and had our sharing time. Each student shared something interesting they did over the weekend. 

Snack – JKs were encouraged to eat a healthy snack.

This week we are learning the name, sound and formation of letters X and Y.  

JKs used play dough to form these letters. Then they had some time to use the cutters to strengthen their fine motor skills. 

Math/UOI – today we made a list of modes of transportation that travel in the air. Then we used pattern blocks to build different types modes of transportation.

Centers – today students had the opportunity to play with pretend food. Playing pretend helps to develop the following: social, emotional and mental development and communication skills.
