Happy Tuesday!

JKs had a very exciting day yesterday in the SK classroom. They got to try what SK will look like next year! Please, remember to submit your re-registration packages in order to guarantee a spot for your child next year.

Morning circle time – we had our special helper of the day adding the date to our calendar, we sang our morning songs, then added one more popcorn to our 100^th Day of school counting. Only 3 more days to celebrate 100^th Day of School!

Snack – JKs were encouraged to eat a healthy snack.

This week we are learning the name, sound and formation of letters V and W.  Today we learned the Jolly Phonics songs for these two letters and used play dough to form the letters.

Valentine’s Day Activity – this week our focus is on Valentine’s Day and 100^th Day of School activities. Today we completed 2 activities which involved fine motor skills and language arts. First activity, JKs glued little pieces of paper on a heart template. Second activity, they were asked to draw 4 things they love.
