Happy Monday!

Morning circle time – we had our special helper of the day doing our calendar, we sang our morning songs, then added one more popcorn to our 100th Day of school counting. Today is Monday, so we had our sharing time. Students were encouraged to share something they did on the weekend. But they could only talk, if they were holding the ball.

Snack – JKs were encouraged to eat a healthy snack.

French class – please visit Mme. Jessica’s blog http://mllehousja.blogspot.com/

Recess and Lunch

Language – this week we will be learning name, sound and formation of the letter D. Today we learned the song and actions for letter D and used play dough to form the uppercase and lowercase D.

Math – in math we continued with our unit on numeracy. JKs worked on number 1. They practiced writing and representing.
