We had an excellent first day! A few tears here and there, but overall we had a great day!
Take a look at what we did today:
Morning circle time - JKs were introduced to our morning routine, which included, special helper of the day, snack time, calendar, songs, counting to 100th day of school.

Language - we read a book titled: "If you take a mouse to school", then we reviewed the story placing the picture cards in correct order.
Name Activity - students worked on their names by gluing colorful straws.

Centers - today we played with Mr. Potato head, cars and blocks. Centers is a time where students develop emotionally and cognitively, it also promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
