Morning circle time – we had our special helper of the day doing our calendar, we sang our morning songs, then added one more popcorn to our 100th Day of school counting.
Snack – JKs were encouraged to eat a healthy snack.

Recess and Lunch
Language – this week we are
learning the name, sound and formation of letter g. Today we put on our
detective hat and looked for all Fs and Gs on our paper.
Math – in math we used manipulatives as part of the pre assessment for our 2nd unit on data management.
These are the learning goals for this unit:
• Sort
and classify objects according to specific characteristics
• Compare
information using two categories
• Compare
information using one-to-one correspondence
• Use
simple grids to make graphs
• Use
appropriate language (more, less, the same as)
• Use
language of probability (could happen, could not happen)

Centers - today JKs had the choice of puzzles and blocks.
Puzzles are great for developing cognitive skills, problem solving, fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and social skills.
